Terms and Conditions of Sale _{(International – English)}

1. Scope

These Terms and Conditions govern the sale of products by Northwood Lab to consumers residing outside of France. By placing an order, the buyer accepts these terms in full.

3. Products

The products sold are high-technology tracking systems intended for virtual reality applications, motion capture, or research.

Northwood Lab makes its best efforts to describe and present products as accurately as possible. However, images, descriptions, and technical specifications are non-contractual.

4. Prices

All prices are in euros (€) and excluding taxes and duties unless otherwise stated.

Orders are shipped Delivery Duty Unpaid (DDU): the buyer is responsible for any local VAT, import duties, or customs fees that may apply in their country.

5. Order and Payment

Orders are processed via our partner platform Shopify, which ensures secure payment and order tracking.

Accepted payment methods include:

• Credit/debit cards
• PayPal
• Other localized methods (if available)

Payment is required in full at the time of purchase.

6. Shipping and Delivery

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout. Delivery times may vary depending on the destination country.

Northwood Lab is not responsible for additional delays due to customs or local authorities.

7. Returns and Refunds

Returns are accepted within 14 days after delivery, in accordance with international consumer protection laws.

To qualify for a return:

• The product must be unused and in its original condition
• The return request must be submitted via email with proof of purchase

Return shipping costs are the buyer’s responsibility, unless the product is defective or a delivery error occurred.

8. Warranty

Products are covered by a legal warranty of conformity, valid for 2 years from the date of delivery.

This warranty covers manufacturing defects and non-conformity with the promised specifications. It does not cover:

• Accidental damage
• Improper installation or use
• Modifications by the user

9. Pre-order and Product Development

Some products, such as the Singularis Pack, are sold in pre-order.
In this context:

• Images, components, and specifications may change before final delivery.
• The core features (full-body optical tracking, SteamVR compatibility, low latency, etc.) will be maintained or improved.
• The customer acknowledges and accepts that the product is still in development and that visuals and specifications are non-binding.
• Northwood Lab commits to delivering a product that is functionally equivalent or superior to the one described at the time of order.

10. Liability

Northwood Lab shall not be held liable for:

• Delays caused by third-party logistics
• Import restrictions or taxes applied by local authorities
• Incompatibility of the product with unlisted systems or use cases

11. Intellectual Property

All content on the Northwood Lab website, including branding, logos, images, texts, and code, is protected under international intellectual property laws.
Any reproduction or unauthorized use is strictly prohibited.

12. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by French law. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of France, unless overridden by mandatory consumer protection rules in the buyer’s country.
